Using Valentine’s Day
to celebrate the role
of beauty in our most important relationship - the one with ourselves.
Zalando wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day on their beauty channel, with influencers. Expecting the traditional approach like date looks and lip stick for kissing, we spun Valentine’s Day around to be about love of the self and how beauty and skincare play a role in that journey.
We created 3 self-love stories with a diverse group of beauty creators and had them share and support our self-love filter.

Deciding what self care to do isn’t always easy. Especially if taking care or yourself, celebrating you, isn’t easy. To solve that we created a simple roulette filter to help our community decide
how to show themselves some love on Valentine’s Day.
With the help of our selected influencers, we promoted the
filter on their channels and our owned channels.

We also partnered with three influencers to tell their story to self love. Through a montage of footage they showed different ways they show love and care to themselves. The voiceover supplies context and a deeper dive into their journey.
